Who we are
After over a decade working in the arts—as a curator, non-profit director, and art dealer partnering with artists, collectors, museums, and galleries around the world—I shifted my focus in 2024 to something a little closer to home.
With two little ones (Margot, 4, and Stella, 1) and a growing desire to create beauty in everyday spaces, I stepped away from the commercial gallery I co-founded in 2021, anticipating a slower pace focusing on my own family and community through board and volunteer service. Around the same time, I hosted a wine night at our house in Woodland Heights, and a friend’s curiosity turned into a project. That led to another. And before I knew it, Ashlyn Burns Interiors was born. It’s still small, still deeply personal, and still mostly with friends. But it feels like the right kind of work for this season: intentional, relational, grounded in the meaning of home.
Founded in late 2024, the studio focuses on thoughtful, layered, livable interiors shaped by a deep background in art and curation.
